Shuttering systems or magnetic formwork are used for the production of precast concrete structures. The adapters with the shuttering magnets are placed on the points of the magnetic formwork fixation. When concrete is set, a formwork is demoulded by removing equipment. Some shuttering magnet systems are equipped with adaptors for magnetic formwork fixation. A formwork differs by its stiffness – a flexible shuttering board is used for round parts, and a rigid shuttering board is used for standard structures.

With the matching pry bar, the formwork magnet can be picked up, and the steel formwork can be easily removed from the template. Since the magnets are located inside the steel formwork groove, concrete residue or other dirt will not cause damage to the formwork system.

Generally，Q235A carbon steel is better than stainless steel，cause its magnetic flux and low cost. The antirust treatment of the iron sheet is usually process by blackening. Blackening is a common method of chemical surface treatment. The principle is to create an oxide film on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention.
